But what can be the right/ wrong way to run? You just got to tye your lace and start running right?

i thought the same until i realized what can be the repercussions of not doing it right
when i became cautious about my way, i felt a massive difference b/w before & after
and so i thought why not share it with you, maybe someone who’s just starting out might benefit from it
but first here are some don’ts:
β running equals a struggle fest π have observed that sometimes ppl are struggling to breathe or trying too hard. i appreciate their resilience but honestly, running doesn’t or shouldn’t be a struggle or pain (at least not the majority of your runs)
β running with the whole foot touching the ground at once & then raising the next one. have to admit, i used to run like this in the beginning. it’s not right & creates unnecessary jerks on your knees & brain
β running with mouth open ie. breathing with the mouth π it’s something I have to be cautious about tbh
So then what is the right way to run?
β run stress-free & by that i mean both mental & physical stress. loosen up your body, relax those muscles & let go of any tension you’re holding in your muscles
β run relax. drop-down your shoulders, let your arms gently flow back&forth as you run calm & relaxed
β find your pace & run easy. seriously, don’t try too hard. most of your runs should feel easy & not a struggle
β toes first, then foot. let the toes touch the ground first followed by the foot. this helps spread the reactive impact from the ground spread evenly thus minimizing the jerk impact on the knees𦡠and brainπ§
β run with your mouth closed, that’s a no brainerπ¬
β lastly & most importantly, stay in control of your breathing. find a pace at which you can breathe easy, smile a bit & still run. it all starts with your breath πβ¨
Amazing post!!
Way to go!!
