Masala Eggplant and Potato!

New recipe on my plate! Stuffed masala eggplant (भरुआ बैगन)+ Dal tadka, steamed rice, chutney, cucumber salad & papad❤ Huh! Dream lunch😍🤗

Recipe for stuffed eggplant (for 3-4 people):
– In a plate, add 2 tsp fennel powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp dry mango powder, 1/2 inch grated ginger, drizzle a little bit of mustard oil and mix well. And your filling is ready!
– Next, take 4 small-sized eggplants and put 2 slits in them at 90 degrees & stuff the filling in it and pack it all together tightly.
– To any stuffing that’s left, add 1-2 long sliced half-boiled potatoes & mix them well
– Now in a flat pan that has some depth add 3-4 tsp mustard oil, when it turns hot crackle some cumin seeds into it, some carom seeds and a little asafoetida. Now in this pan, place the stuffed eggplants and boiled potatoes mixed and leave it to cook on low flame for 5 mins. Don’t forget to cover it.
– After 5 mins, open the cover to check it and turn the eggplants to have the less cooked area in touch with the pan surface. And little bit shuffle the potatoes too. Again cover the pan and let it cook for another 5 mins.
– Now for the last time check if the eggplant is cooked, if not repeat the above process and cook it for 3 mins more.

That’s it! Yummy masala stuffed eggplant is ready to enjoy with rice, paratha, chapati or any other bread of your choice ❤✨

Do you want to run faster?

If you want to run faster or longer, you first got to learn how to run easy!

And that’s what an easy run is all about.

To run easy & relaxed, just putting in an easy effort.

Easy run, also known as a recovery run, is to train yourself to give an easy effort for those 20-30 minutes & just relax and have fun, maybe recover from a hard workout or a hard day at work or simply to clear your head.

It helps to build endurance while still running stress-free, feel-good & motivated to come back to the starting line again.

Better, stronger & more resilient than when you left.

It’s about running & it’s also not about running.

It applies to our work, relationships & life.

My most important takeaway from an easy run is that-

Just like not all runs are meant to be tuff,

Not all days are meant to be tuff.

Sometimes all you need is to just give in an easy effort & enjoy the ride.

And leave with a big smile & a happy heart looking forward to coming back again!🏃‍♂️💪✨

Have a great weekend 🙂

Are you a lazy runner like me?

“You just ran yesterday, it’s OK. One day rest😜” said a lazy voice in my head this morning.

Thankfully, I didn’t listen.

Instead I thought, let me just get up & do whatever I can even if it’s just going for a little walk.

And got up, got ready & left for my run.

20 minutes run, 20 minutes done!

I left with the feeling of joy, happiness, better health, endurance, commitment & motivation after finishing my recovery run.

Most importantly, as a better version of myself than when I started 💪✨

And all powered up to come back for it again tomorrow🏃‍♂️

That’s it about me.

Yoga is love <3

Yoga is a beautiful practice of marrying your breath to your body & create a symphony of soulful movements.

Through the yoga asanas (postures) & vinyasas (transitions) movement, I create a connection between my mind, heart & centre.

Personally, it has helped me find the space & flexibility within me, that I didn’t know existed.

Practising Yoga in the innocent hours of the day makes me become one with my mind, body & soul and set an intention for the rest of my day.

Most importantly, Yoga helps me find the gentleness, kindness and care for myself as I transition from one asana to another and carry it with me into my day for myself & others.

Leaving you with the thought of my most favourite Yoga asana:

As I join my hands, place them in front of my heart & bow my head to create a gentle curve at the back of my neck with my nose touching my thumb, I give thanks to the highest that’s in me & others.

NAMASTE🙏✨

“If there are threats to humanity, Yoga often gives us a way of holistic health.

Yoga also gives us a happier way of life.

I’m sure, Yoga will continue to play its preventive as well as promotive role in the healthcare of masses.”
– Narendra Modi, Honourable Prime Minister of India
